Would you be on board with a Cursed Child film?

I know the screenplay is heavily criticized for its inconsistencies, weak storytelling, and some pretty questionable retcons. At first, I thought adapting it into a film would feel almost insulting to the original saga.

But the more I think about it, the more I feel that, if they significantly reworked the story, shifted the focus, and brought it closer in tone to the original films, it could actually make for a solid two-part movie. More than anything, it would be a great excuse to bring back the original trio one last time.

It would also help reinforce the separation between the TV universe and the film universe, allowing both to coexist more clearly.

So yes, I’d be open to it, but only if they were willing to change a lot and turn it into something genuinely stronger than the stage screenplay.
