ION Solar Solicitor, fake?

I don't like solicitors and I really need to get a sign...

Are there fake ION Solar solicitors. They seemed to offer a system that they own on your house as a way to lower demand on the grid through Dominion power. Searching it says they aren't affiliated and while Dominion does have a subsidiary that offers such a solution that ION was pitching. What the guy said doesn't exist on their website as an option.

I've had a long day and really didn't want to argue with them about it. In-general I think it's dumb to install it on the roof. I stated my worry about what if things go wrong and instead of offering anything.. they just said, that they would insure it.. like ok?

I thought it was interesting.. but it's more interesting that they don't offer it on their website.
