Galloping Roommate

Now this may sound strange, but my roommate has a habit of stomping (almost galloping) for hours on end in the hallway outside our dorm room. This continues into the night and sometimes I'll be awoken by him doing it in the room. When he's not stomping he is usually on call aggressively cussing people out, this happens at least once a week. Outside of that, he loudly cussing to himself in the lounge sporadically. So, I do not necessarily want to confront him, he may have some sort of disorder and I'm not going to chew dude out for something he can't control...but I would like some sleep (Yes I've tried earplugs, melatonin, and a sleep mask). What should I do?
