DMCA and cross posting

I stupidly posted a photo of my face when I was a minor on Reddit. This was around 4 years ago or so. I deleted it shortly after. I was curious if the photo was posted anywhere on the internet and did a reverse image search on Google, only to find it got taken down for DMCA reasons. I went and looked at the link and turns out it was originally on OnlyFans? Someone had requested to remove it, which wasn’t me. I’m just a bit confused on how it got there? Was it cross posted onto porn sites and scraped by bots? Sometimes the DMCA disappears completely when I try again with the same image, so I’m just extremely lost.
