Traveling with a vape at 20 years old

Hey all,

Leaving from Charlotte-Douglas international. Planning to keep a disposable vape in my carry-on, in original packaging, in a ziplock bag in an easy-to-reach pocket.

I’m twenty—is it likely to be flagged by TSA and result in a confiscation or worst case, a fine?

I’m not looking to get in trouble, so if this is something normal I’d like to know.
