EV-ICD pacing

I've had my EV-ICD for a little under 2 months and it shocked me for the first time a couple days ago. the shock wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, just a little.. shocking, but not painful. The next day they had me go to the ER to be monitored and ended up changing my meds and adjusting the settings on my device. I was sitting around 180s for a bit before it jumped to 220 and shocked me, so they lowered the pacing to 180s from 200.

so my question is, what does pacing feel like, do people even recognize it?
