Would people in Kananaskis listen to a local online radio station?

Hi everyone!

I’m launching a small community internet radio station on Twitch that will cover the towns around Calgary and mountain communities like Kananaskis Country.

The goal is to bring back the feel of local radio but in a modern, interactive way.

We’ll be running 3 live shows each weekday:
• Morning show (7–9 AM) – weather, trail conditions, weekend plans, shoutouts
• Lunch auction show (12–1:30 PM) – local businesses offering deals/promos
• Evening call-in show (7–9 PM) – listeners can call in via Discord and chat

We’d love to feature:

• trail and park updates
• hiking & camping tips
• weekend adventure ideas
• local events and meetups
