A discussion between the 1st game and the 2nd

I have made 2 posts about how I suck at sts2 and believe me when I say that I suck at sts2

I just dont get how to play the game, and that's fine, but i liked the gameplay loop of it, so i played Sts1, and I can actually win

I dont know why i can win in the first game and not the second, but i can and i am having fun ,i know a weird concept that someone would have more fun if they win more games than they lose

so I wanted to ask what the difference between the two games because the first feels so much better to play to me

here's what I think

1. the cards in the first are more powerful

2. less enemys debuff you into hell

3. the damage growth that enemy's get during fights is a lot slower, allowing me to play my fun cards more

4. the enemy's hardly ever fill your deck with useless cards that are there to damage you or mess up your card draw

5.relics are better and more useful

those are the differences I see when im playing the first compared to the second but keep in mind i cant play sts2 for shit like 1 win out of 150 that is not an exaggeration that is my win loss ratio 1/150

so if you prefer the 2nd could you say why because to me it feels like the 1st is better in every way
