Doctor prescribed vaginal metronidazole for my face ...

In short:

Girl suffers from pustule outbreak for 3 months. Ivermectin isn't helping

Meets doctor for new solution. Doc suggests metronidazole

Doc sends prescription directly to pharmacy

Boyfriend picks up prescription

Girl opens prescription to find a box of metronidazole with warnings on it saying 'for vaginal use only' (l o l)

Has anyone used this stuff on their face? I went back to talk to the pharmacist and he said it would should be fine to use on face skin ... but he didn't sound sure enough for me. I've tried to get ahold of my doc with no luck, and now it's the long weekend and I won't hear from her for 5 days. What would you do?
