How to get started/ How to find a Dom

Hello so sorry it the title does not make sense l really did not know what to put but anyways l am 18f about to be 19 in a few months not sure if that’s helpful, but I want to put it anyways everything l know about BDSM is what I have read through fanfic or books which I already know to take with a grain of salt what l really need help with is what do how do l fine a dom and how can l fine information that l can trust any time l try to reach or look up anything it makes no sense or it doesn’t seem quite accurate if that makes sense to be 100%, I just need help as I do not know where to start any advice any information and you could take I will gladly accept I am just very lost and instead of just going in blind I wanna see if I can get any help. Any tips any resources anything that can just make this easier I would like to mention I do know some stuff just some very small general basic information but anything truly helps i’m so sorry if this does not make a lot of sense I truly did not know how to word this or how to explain what I need and I’m trying my best thank you to anyone and everyone who helps or give any suggestions!!
