Was Luka robbed of MVP in 23-24?

So I started following NBA in 23-24 only in the second round of playoffs and I feel like Luka being 3rd in MVP voting that year wasn’t fair

He was averaging record triple double 34/9/10 almost on a 50 win team and both Jokic and SGA had a 57 team win

So does team record matter that much or am I missing some context

Also nobody mentions this in NBA media as if everyone forgot what happened

Even Bill continuously mentions SGA straight 4 first team all NBA but Luka had 5 first team all NBA from his second season

Has the trade changed the perception around him so much?
