DO NOT update your payment plan until deadline

Title. I went ahead and updated my IDR due to getting the email saving SAVE was dead and I needed to select a new plan. Without thinking, I reapplied for the IDR plan thinking I would have until the September deadline to be in forbearance. Anyway, my first payment is due in May. DO NOT UPDATE your payment plan until you are forced to 90 days after July 1st.
