First timer here

I’ve finally bought the collection and I’m playing for about 3 hours so far, love it. I never played a shooter game before (Except fallout 4, hated it) and these games are supposed to be easy? I’m playing the first one on medium difficulty and it’s not a big deal lmao. Do I need a harder difficulty or should I just explore and learning the story?
