Missing vaccines and my vaccine records due to anti-vaccine parents
My vaccine records are gone, according to my mom some issues happened with my childhood doctor and now she can't find them, on top of that my parents (especially my father) became antivaxx later in my life, around middle school to be specific. I'm 18(AFAB) now and trying to catch myself up to date on my vaccines, especially because some of the colleges I applied to require me to submit vaccine records. But because of all of this stuff stated before, I don't fully know what vaccines I already have, I know I got the ones you need when I was a baby but I'm unsure about the ones you get before being allowed in school (I was taken out of school to be homeschooled in the 3rd grade).
How would I go about retrieving my vaccine records (if possible)? If I can't get the records how would I go about building them back up? Any sort of blood test I can take to check? Can I retake vaccines I already had or is that dangerous? Would any of this appear on insurance records? I'm under my dads insurance, and I'm worried he might get mad if he sees that, also how long of a process would any of you estimate this take? If it can't get done before the fall school year I'll probably have try to file a religious exemption (I don't want to, but even if I do I'll still try to get myself up-to-date regardless)
