When I saw her Alexandra’s Dress and saw that she wore Zimmermann, I was really confused. Because Zimmermann is NOT evening wear. It is fancy day-time wear or something you wear for drinks in the evening while staying at your Maldives Resort.

This dress is also marketed as a fancy Vacation dress from the brand itself. It has detachable elastic straps (no evening gown has those) and an elastic band in the back. Again, fancy evening gowns are usually tailored, you don’t use cheap-looking elastic bands on them (pictures of the bands at the end of the slide show)

The dress also doesn’t fit her, it’s too big in the bust area und she has to adjust it all the time, so it doesn’t slide down. Why didn’t she at least get it tailored.

I also have a few Zimmermann dresses and occasionally run in circles, where they are worn and I have never seen anyone wear them to a Gala or a fancy evening event, that would be totally inappropriate.

I don’t get it, if you are THAT rich, why are you spending almost 4000€ (that’s the price of the dress) on a dress that is not pretty, doesn’t fit you and isn’t even appropriate. For that money you could buy so many amazing actual evening gowns and not some overpriced, bedsheet-beach-club-dress.

She really needs a stylist ASAP .

Alexandra’s Gala look - ill-fitting and inappropriate (so bad that even her Fan Account didn’t glaze her)
