Grass litter safe for cat with past urinary blockage issues?

My wife and I have been looking into getting a new litter for our 6yo cat, and I’ve read a lot of very positive reviews about grass seed litter! But our little guy has had a serious urinary tract blockage when he was a kitten from a fine clay litter, and once they have had that happen it can happen more easily in their adult life, so we’ve been pretty cautious about what litter we give him, making sure it’s not too fine.

So my question is, has anyone used grass seed litter for cats with this issue and been fine? Is this litter more fine than clay and crystal litter?
