Day 11 cytisine (recigar from Amazon), day 7 no nicotine, my roommate left a vape on the bathroom counter and I just looked at it disdainfully and walked away.

Success Story

Not something I could have ever imagined being able to do on previous attempts to quit cold turkey or with NRT. I’d have sucked on that thing immediately.

If you’re like I was and think quitting is just hopeless and you’ll never make it past 2 days, seriously just spend the $50ish on cytisine, wait 10 days or so for it to ship from Europe, and just do what the instructions say. By day 4 vaping just pisses you off, so you’re basically glad to throw them out on day 4.

I’ve had some difficult moments of course. But since I know nicotine won’t be satisfying anymore because of the cytisine, I see no good reason to even try vaping again, even if I think I really want it. I know it won’t solve the hard feelings while cytisine is in my system. I’ve got about 2 more weeks before I finish the course of pills, and I figured once I’m 3 full weeks nicotine free it just won’t be as big of a deal to avoid relapsing cuz I’ve broken the patterns and habits.

I’m getting rambly at this point, so basically, if you think it’s hopeless like I did for so long, just buy the cytisine. I doubted it would work, but it does. The only other times I’ve managed to quit this long were when I was too young to buy my own, or went on multi-week international vacations. IF EVERYTHING HAS FAILED FOR YOU, THIS IS THE THING THAT WILL PROBABLY GENUINELY WORK.
