[Recommendation Request] Non-depreciating watch recommendation to build relationship with Rolex AD?
There are a few Rolex watches I want. I want to ask you for advice for a non-depreciating or low-depreciating watch, something readily available that I can buy to start having history with my local Rolex AD (Mayor's Jewelry in Atlanta, GA). Mayors carries other brands like Seiko, Tudor, and many others so there are options, however considering this is a bridge purchase and a means to an end, I don't want to spend $2,000 or $5,000 than lose half that value when I sell it. I am not a business, I have 0 desire or plans to flip the Rolex, so any potential "gain" from being able to purchase one at retail price won't be realized because I plan to keep it forever. Basically looking for advice on a watch I can buy today or in the near term that I can break even on or lose a small percentage on in the future if and when I can get the Rolex's I want. (Sky Dweller, 1908, GMT Master II). I'd be open to any style, theme etc so yeah please let me know if you have any suggestions.
