As an owner operator of a small business am I required to submit a WCB claim in this situation?

Hey everyone I'm seeking some advice and guidance on how I'm required to proceed with the situation I'm in.

I was recently involved in a motor vehicle collision while in my work truck and when I contacted a lawyer they told me I should speak with WCB before proceeding further or gather some more information on whether or not I am required to at this current time. The only reason I ask here first is because as a small business owner and the only person employed by my company I would like to try and avoid my WCB premiums increasing if at all possible.

During the time of the incident I wasn't directly heading to a job site nor was I invoicing my time to a client. At the time I was on my way to a fuel station to put diesel in my truck and later that day I had a job to go to. So personally I don't believe that a report to WCB should be required as I was not on the job nor was I directly heading to a job pertaining my work.

If anyone would be able to shed some light on the path that I am required to proceed with it would be greatly appreciated.
