Anyone else struggling to find serious guys in Dubai? (Desi community)

Okay I just want to see if it’s only me or if others are going through this too 😅

I’ve been on Bumble/Muzz on and off for like 5–6 years now. I wouldn’t say I get ghosted a lot, but the type of guys I’m coming across is what’s confusing me.

It’s always the same pattern — they show a lot of interest in the beginning, they’re consistent, texting, making effort… and then the moment you actually respond and things start moving forward, they just switch?? Like suddenly they’re confused, inconsistent, or “not sure what they want.”

It’s honestly so draining.

I’m born and raised in Dubai and I’m mainly looking within the Desi community (Indian/Pakistani), and I always thought when I’m ready to settle down it wouldn’t be this hard to find someone serious. But I swear every year it feels like the quality is getting worse 😭

Are there actually guys here who genuinely want marriage and are ready for it? Or is everyone just… stuck in this cycle?

Also, has anyone had better luck meeting people outside of apps in Dubai? Because I’m really starting to feel like these apps are not it.
