Saga continues- Do not use Hertz

I had an AI claim damage to a rental in May 2025, I disputed the claim and ended up paying for it anyway. Then came the collections notices, and statements by Hertz that I never paid it, despite having evidence and an email from Hertz to the contrary. After submitting small claims court proceedings, someone reached out to me.

Now as a “courtesy” they are going to “waive” the already paid fee. Nothing else, no sorry no admission to fault of Hertz and no offer to correct my credit score.

Considering to continue with small claims court proceedings, and ask for maximum damages.
