No notifications about new version on MacOS - any update?

Hi Tuta-team,

this issue just happened again — the application doesn’t show a notification about a new version when it’s maximized from the system tray.

The only way I notice an update is by going to Settings → Desktop, where it shows that a new version is available.

Is this expected behavior, or are update notifications only triggered on application startup rather than when restoring the app from the system tray?
