Is my cousin being unreasonable?

Salaam guys. I need some advice on whether I should continue advising my cousin or allow her to make her own decision. She’s getting married mashallah, both are in their early twenties, she’s finishing uni, but I did advise her that it’s fine to get married whilst studying. Anyway, he works full time, is practising, and he doesn’t care for a wedding but if my cousin wants it, he’s happy to chip in where he can. We had the soo doonis and he brought 10k gbp which tbh isn’t really covering much but that’s all he can afford. Her family is going to pay the rest, which I think is ridiculous. Even the soo doonis was a mini party which cost around 2k, for the food and decor. I just don’t want her to spend her savings, and family money on a wedding that’ll be over in 24 hours, and then she’s broke, a uni student. I told her the money your family are giving you, you should put that into your account and keep it since you’ll be a student. Should I stop advising her and just let her do what she wants?
