"review; verdict; prompt on failure" is surprisingly effective

General Discussion

I’m now using GPT + Opus pairs for everything from design to build instead of relying on Opus alone.

This works at the design and spec stage, where I’ll use Claude web inside of ChatGPT Atlas to go deep into a topic and draft a specification for a complex / big task or project.

But it’s also useful at the implementation step, where I have pairs of Codex - Claude Code agents working in parallel.

Claude implements the spec, and Codex reviews the work. I use “review; verdict; prompt on failure” prompt to get a review from GPT.

This is what it looks like when a stage is complete with no issues

And if Codex does find an issue, it looks like this

I feel this setup helps me get the best out of both GPT and Claude. These days I’m literally prompting GPT with “review; verdict; prompt on failure” like 100x a day.

I’m curious if anyone else is using this kind of setup.
