Making it to year six in crypto is honestly not easy
Seeing that bydfi just hit its sixth anniversary made me realize something. I have somehow also been in crypto for six years now. That feels kind of unreal. When I first came across bydfi back then, it had not even changed its name yet, and without really thinking about it, I ended up using the platform for six years too. In most industries, six years may not sound that long. But in crypto, it really is. A lot of platforms and projects do not even make it through one full cycle. We have all seen what happened in
Because of that, the way I look at platforms and projects now is very different from how I did a few years ago. Back then it was easier to get pulled in by new stories, new features, and whatever was getting attention. Now I care more about one very simple thing. Has it actually stayed alive through multiple market cycles? To me, the fact that they have managed to keep going all this time already says something.
I am not saying being around longer automatically makes something the best, and I am not saying other platforms are bad. I just feel more and more that in crypto, simply still being here carries real weight.
