Can you enter Audi Lot from Newhall Drive?

I think I always thought that was closed but now I'm wondering if it is open.

Assuming that is an ok entrance, if you are coming on Coleman is that faster than Earthquakes Way? I'm wondering if it is, since on Earthquakes Way you often have to wait for a while as pedestrians are crossing right in front of the entrance.
