How's German 5.7 BR doing right now? Is it fun?

I'm asking because I played this game a long time ago, right from the start, then stopped for over five years; I had several accounts, and so on.

For the past two years, I’ve been coming back to the game and leaving it several times a year; I only play at high tiers and haven’t touched tanks below Tier 9.0 in over five years.

Right now I’m at a high tier and want to go back to the roots, where tanks look like tanks: heavy, slow, and powerful. I’m leaning toward the “Two Fronts” bundle with the Tigers; they look awesome in the test drive.

So, my question is: will I enjoy this BR and the gameplay, or is it broken and I won’t get any enjoyment out of it?
