Context for those who are not on PS5: There are tournaments between 13:00 to 00:00 where winner gets limited avatar (and maybe sometimes other prize idk).

I just had enough and need to vent.

Why it sucks objectively in my opinion:

These tournaments are only in specific hours in a day, which suck ass if you want a specific one because every hour there's a different prize. So it goes like this for example: 13:00 Jin, 14:00 Leo, then Steve, Reina and back to Jin. So daily you got 2-3 shots at trying to win the one you want, if you got time at that specific hour and if you're a normal person that is working/studying, then you got even less chances.

It gets even better. These tournaments don't take ranks into account. Lower ranks like green can get easily matched with tekken king and up. So it's also rng if you can get 15 or less players in similar skillset to yours.

For almost two fucking weeks now I tried to win Reina. There are better players, shit happens etc. But I am not gonna lie, it pisses me off now.

When I finally get good matchups and manage to get to the finale its alway some bullshit. Was in finale with noob Lily, but I just had to screw up like idiot and lost. Next time get matches againts some good players (I and they were mostly blue ranks), but I managed to get through. And in the final battle? It's FUCKING LAW IN TEKKEN GOD! Well, fuck me I guess.

Not to mention the assholes who already got the prize and just keeps gatekeeping others from winning it. Or the shitlickers that manipulate their connection when you get upper hand.

Just fucking now. Got matched with dude who got bad internet or is connection manipulator (he was on cable and got all lines at the start). Game showed me "match as no contest" option, so obviously I pressed it because who wants to look at power point presentation about tekken when you can play the game. Press it, and the MOTHERFUCKING GAME actually chooses me to lose the match and not the person who, on purpose or not, isn't playing fair. Well, next try in 21:00 or 1 fucking am in the morning.

The best thing is, when I tried Jin tournament I won it first try. I DIDN'T EVEN WANTED THIS ONE, I was just bored and thought why not give it a shot. But to win the one I specificaly want? NO, BECAUSE WHY, right? Some higher power must be againts me at this point.

Honestly? I wanted to win it, but still keep the same Ratchet avatar I got for years now and got so used to. But now... If I fucking manage to get my hands on these fucking pixels, you can fucking bet I will change it to this chibi cute Reina and wore it like war medal. It's no longer about the few pixels on screen, Its about the ridiculousness and my objective to win that shit.

I am tired, angry, frustrated and want to finally win this. I hate it, so much.

I fucking despise PSN tournaments
