Transition to undies??

hi! my daughter has finally really gotten the hang of using the potty at home, when not wearing any pants. she will be middle of playing. pause. say I need the potty. and go sit on it. we did three days of being fully bottomless and she only had two total accidents.

my question/struggle is having her wear pants/undies. today we put underwear on her and explained that this wasn't a diaper she still needs to find her potty when she has to go. she seems to completely lose the connection once anything is touching her bottom. we did undies and just pants no undies and she had accidents in both.

do we just keep going pant less at home forever? I am not sure how to make it click for her
