56mm R vs WR ?

Hey guys. I picked up a 56mm 1.2 R a couple weeks ago for such a good price, I couldn't say no. I LOVE this focal length especially for documenting my baby growing up. 90% of the time I find the auto focus absolutely fine, I use manual focus a lot too (I have a couple of Voigtlanders so I'm used to manual focusing).

But, when it doesn't want to focus it's a real PITA and takes some effort to get it to ficus right.

Question, is the WR update really that much better? It's still not a linear motor so still not gonna be crazy fast (honestly I find the speed of focus totally ok), but is it that much of a step up to the R I have?

I can't fault the vibe of the images, they are absolute magic, and the size is juuust manageable on my Xpro-3.

So, yeah, thoughts on anyone who's had both on this camera. Is the extra size and weight worth it?
