Need guidance as a lower enlisted wanting to direct commission

Hey everyone,

I know this may not be the group but hoping to be pointed in the right direction. I’m looking into becoming a Signal Officer via direct commission, specifically 25A or 26A. I’d really appreciate any advice from those with experience in these roles or the process.

How competitive is it, what backgrounds are best, and any tips to be a strong candidate? I’m also open to connecting with a mentor.
