Unpopular Opinion - PC supremacy/Console hate is so overrated

As someone who has both a PC and a PS5, it irks me, especially lately, how loud the “JUST GET A PC” crowd is. PC is great, i enjoy it for the games i play on it. Ive had minimal upgrades (just cpu and gpu once in 5 years).

Aside from virtually uncapped framerate on a powerful enough setup, a console does everything 99% of human beings need. Its half the price, runs games at or near 4k 60 frames, you dont need to tweak ANY settings, games are almost always optimized. I’m not about to argue that 60 fps is some horrible gaming experience either, thats just an internet talking point that isn’t true. The longevity argument is also a moot point, youre upgrading your gpu and cpu at about the same rate as a console (and more expensive) if you want to stay on the high end of graphics, almost everything is cross platform, discord is integrated.

Bit of a rant but also want to see if some other people agree lol. In light if the recent cost spikes on both sides I’m seeing this more and more lately.
