Samsung S26 or iPhone 17

I recently purchased a Samsung S26 here in Canada but people are saying that I made a mistake and should have went for the iphone 17 instead. The majority of reasons was due to RCS being garage although I haven't had any issues with it yet.

I'm not tied down to any ecosystem but just wanted to hear some thoughts on this. Thanks ✌️
