I was told not going about peeling, what's should I do?

I know full well peeling is normal, I also know not to pick at it at all.

What do I do when washing it though? I just washed it and a ton of the peeling skin came of because I washed it. It's been peeling for a few days now but this is the most skin that came off with a wash, and it left me wondering if I'm to rough?

I don't press into the skin to much, I still do just not alot, and I wash on a circular pattern.

My only concern is if anything I'm doing is going to affect the tattoo negatively.
