backrooms trailer thoughts

i loved the trailer! so much really, as someone whos been in the backrooms community for so long it is so rewarding to see it finally become a piece of media that i can watch. i loved all the little nods to kane’s different videos, clarks map reminds me of the video ‘presentation’ and the part where someone said ‘are you recording?’ reminded me of that video where someone was saying the same thing to someone before they fell and no clipped into the backrooms. loved the bg music, an amazing soundtrack that is so well known within the backrooms/dreamcore/weirdcore fandoms. also loved the fact that theyre sticking to the roots of where the original level 0 picture came from, which is behind a furniture showroom.

something that im a little disappointed about is that clark is able to go in and out of the backrooms. for so long the backrooms has been this inescapable, liminal, hellhole and the fact that clark is able to go back and forth is a kinda sad but i understand why they had to do it

overall super excited for the movie this will be generational for sure!!
