I haven't hit the session limits... and I have been trying.

Discussion

I've seen a lot of posts about session limits being hit extremely quickly so I thought I'd check. This isn't me bragging, just a legitimate test. I spun up claude code using opus 1 million for everything and did a significant refactor to one of my code bases, reviewed a few pull requests, implemented some features in a prototype. The PR reviews and refactors alone were probably 300k tokens because the diffs often cause cache misses.

I'm still only at 20% of my 5 hour usage and only 24% of my weekly. And I have been using it a lot.

This is why I and a few others think the usage issues are either a bug or are hyper regional. All I can conclude is that I am attached to a compute cluster which is underutilized even during peak times, which ALL of my usages has been in peak today.

Again, not bragging or anything. I know this is a really visible and upsetting issue for some.

For anyone wondering, I'm on the 5x MAX plan which means (if I understand it at all) that my usage so far would have fit comfortably within the pro plan seeing as I'm at ~20% of my session limit and I would have exceeded the weekly by a bit on pro.
