Late and new so help me if possible

Hi guys, i have never taken credit card till now may be because i am scared that i may spend the money i dont have at that time , but now in recent times i started seeing these cards as tools, so i applied for amazon icic card and then i realized, i dont have any credit score, but i have decent bank balance
so now can anyone share their experience on how to build credit score in most efficient manner
