Has anyone met someone from a past life?

We have had some serious tragedies the past couple years and last year was a whopper. Someone came back into into my life and it has held me from the worst depression of my life. The person has had such a profound effect on my life I asked my shaman and she said we have spent at least 4 lives together. We have been through major wars and wins together. Say what??? It’s not really conducive to my life right now. Has this happened to anyone? Fuck, life is hard enough and I feel like the bone God tossed me is saving me yet taking my knees out.
