Does fast biometrics scheduling actually mean a faster case?

Biometrics

Hey everyone,

I’ve been seeing a pattern on this sub where people who get their biometrics appointment scheduled really quickly (like within days or a week) sometimes end up having their cases move faster overall.

Is there actually anything to this, or is it just coincidence?

From what I understand, biometrics is one of the first steps and might be more automated or dependent on availability rather than your actual case. I’ve also seen people say that things can still slow down a lot after biometrics regardless of how fast that part was.

For those of you who had very fast biometrics scheduling, did your case continue moving quickly after that? Or did it slow down like everyone else?

Would be helpful to hear real timelines.
