Tamoxifen - one month in

First week - dizzyish and body aches

Second/third week - body aches

Fourth week - strange period, nausea before it arrived, hot flashes and breast pain

All to say, completely manageable side effects. Hydration, good sleep and magnesium helped. I was so terrified it would be awful and one month in, I’m pleased to say it’s gone well. My energy is good and I don’t have midday crashes, my skin has cleared up, and I’ve lost a couple stubborn pounds. Being active and exercising almost daily has been great for me physically and mentally.

I also had a follow up with the surgeon’s NP and she said the list above is all reported/known side effects. Including breast pain — I’m like, the irony of giving BC patients medication that causes breast pain 🤣
