Real post: My technical co-founder is not being very cooperative. Need help!!
Hey guys, so yeah, as the title said, my technical co-founder is not being cooperative, and it's driving me insane.
i have reported some issues and feedback from our users for days, and they still haven't gotten fixed, and he always says fixed, but nothing changes.
i try to include him in the thinking process of solving problems, like asking him what he thinks about a solution or if he has anything he wants to add because I don't want him to feel like an executor in this partnership but actually help on the platform.
i mean, i know i do give him a lot of build requests, but sometimes they are easy to add since the vibecoding tools now exist and can make modifications faster. for example, i reported some feedback on our Telegram chat, and he didn't read it at all and told me to just put everything in a document and send it to me
i did so and reported everything cleanly with the fixes and so on, and he reported back that they were fixed or changed but nothing really changed in the platform
there are some things, like "Show them 3 projects to review after the onboarding", that had been repeated 3 times in 3 different docs and never been implemented.
i don't want to push him or make him feel like he's just working underpaid or an executor instead of a co-founder bcs i felt that, and it SUCKS.
but this is genuinely driving me crazy. there's a competitor who recently came out and he got something better than us THAT I NOTED BEFORE and hadn't been added
so i really feel stuck here.
any advice? Am I doing it wrong or being harsh for requesting a lot of things?
