Let me give you all the context first, because this story is worse than it looks on the Surface.

🧵 WHAT IS RTIH AND WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

RTIH — Ratan Tata Innovation Hub — is an Andhra Pradesh government institution based in Amaravati. It runs under the direct vision of the state's tech and innovation leadership. This isn't some private accelerator. This is a government body tasked with identifying and backing the best innovation talent in the state.

The ECD Innovation Challenge was their flagship competition focused on Early Childhood Development — tools, platforms, and solutions to help Indian children in their most critical developmental years. Think autism screening, speech delay detection, learning tools, developmental milestone tracking. The kind of work that directly affects millions of Indian families.

This competition had real stakes. Government backing. Credibility. The potential to get your solution deployed at scale across Andhra Pradesh and beyond.

27 teams were shortlisted from across India to compete.

🧵 WHO WAS IN THOSE 27 TEAMS? LET ME TELL YOU.

This wasn't a college hackathon. These were serious companies:

Gabify Life — Delhi-based AI startup. Built NeuroLens, an AI-powered screening tool for Autism, ADHD, and Speech Delay using voice and facial analysis. Recognized by UNDP. Partnered with 35+ preschools. Already screened 2,500+ children. Works from 8 months of age.

Aignosis — Jaipur-based startup that built a 5-minute autism screening tool using a standard webcam. Won ₹1 crore on Shark Tank India Season 4 from three sharks including Aman Gupta. Has 250 medical center partnerships.

SKIDS — Bangalore. India's largest pediatric care chain. Screens children across 70+ physical and behavioral health parameters.

Kidaura — Nashik. Game-based autism screening for ages 3-6. Funded by BIRAC, IIMA Ventures, and Turbostart.

Savemom — Maternal IoT health solution. Has a Harvard case study written about it.

CognitiveBotics — Hyderabad. AI-powered learning for neurodiverse children. Generating ₹13 Crore in revenue.

Cortex N Grey — Incubated at IIT Hyderabad. Focused on identifying and equipping at-risk children.

These are funded startups. Domain experts. Teams that have spent years on the ground working with children, hospitals, schools, and therapists.

🧵 AND NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT GROVIEWS.

Here's what the competitive landscape analysis shows about Groviews:

Groviews was rated LOW relevance in the ECD domain. Not medium. Not even low-medium. LOW.

They were the last company added out of 27 shortlisted teams. As in — someone picked up the phone after selections were done and added them.

Their founder's known background? Not in ECD. Not in healthcare. Not in child development. Nothing remotely close.

And — this is the part that should make your blood boil — Groviews is incubated inside RTIH Amaravati itself. The same government institution that organized, ran, and judged this competition.

Read that again.

The winning team lives inside the building of the people who picked the winner.

🧵 NOW HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED ON ANNOUNCEMENT DAY.

RTIH posts the winners.

THREE winners announced: Groviews, Gabify Life, and Neuroscience.

Post disappears within 2 minutes.

Thirty minutes pass.

A brand new visual. Completely redesigned. New copy. New post.

One winner. Just Groviews.

Gabify — the UNDP-recognized, 2,500 children screened, 35 preschools partnered team — gone. Neuroscience — gone.

And here's the evidence they couldn't erase:

Their own post still says "winners" — plural. Their official website still says "winning teams" — plural.

They deleted the post. They didn't delete their own grammar.

🧵 LET'S CONNECT THE DOTS.

A government institution runs an ECD innovation challenge.

Their own incubatee — with no ECD background, added last minute to the shortlist, with documented political connections to AP's top leadership — enters the competition.

Three winners are announced. Two credible domain experts. One RTIH insider.

Post gets pulled. 30 minutes of cover-up work. One winner remains.

The RTIH insider.

🧵 THIS IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. THIS IS A PATTERN.

This is what happens when public institutions run competitions without independent judges, without published evaluation rubrics, without score transparency.

You get outcomes that serve insiders, not innovators.

And the cruelest part? This competition was about children. India's most vulnerable population. The whole point was to find solutions that could help kids with autism, developmental delays, learning challenges — kids who desperately need the best possible tools.

Those kids deserved Gabify. They deserved Aignosis. They deserved the teams that have spent years in the field.

Instead, they got politics.

🧵 WHAT WE DEMAND.

✅ Release Groviews' full solution presentation — what did they pitch? ✅ Publish the evaluation criteria and scoring rubric — what were teams judged on? ✅ Name the judges — and declare any conflicts of interest ✅ Explain the deleted post — why were 3 winners announced and changed to 1? ✅ Publish all 27 teams' scores — let the public see the comparison

🧵 TO Leaders of AP

You told us Andhra Pradesh was changing. That youth would get a fair shot. That "One Home, One Entrepreneur" wasn't just a slogan.

Gabify screened 2,500 children and got erased from a winner's post in 2 minutes.

Aignosis won ₹1 crore on Shark Tank and didn't make the cut.

A team with zero domain experience, zero public track record, incubated inside the judging institution, politically connected — that team won.

Is this the new Andhra Pradesh? Or is it the same old story with better branding?

Drop this everywhere. Tag RTIH. Tag every startup founder you know in APering the A eystem.
