I am having reoccurring cold sores, after YEARS of not having one

I am literally on my third coldsore since February 27. I know that they usually appear after having a period of low immunity . The first one I’m pretty sure was due to hormonal changes as I’ve had a weird hormonal drop due to how my period started. I let the cold sores go through its phases and it healed after a week and some change. About two weeks later I saw it start to reappear. At this point I’m tired of wearing masks so I got some docosanol cream. It worked wonders. Cleared up in three days. I start researching why this came back. Saw a lot of reasons. Such as stress (I am not stressed, at least I don’t feel like it), hormones (could be it, as I did start my cycle yesterday, but it m not entirely convince) and lack of sleep(100% could be it) I started taking Bupropion March 9 I believe. And omfg I swear the 2nd and 3rd week I got MAX 20 hours of sleep. I’ve started taking magnesium and been kinda steady with sleeping now. Boom fast forward to yesterday, the slightly red circle appears on the same area for the third time. What is going on? I really wanna get the the problem of it because i know having constantly reoccurring cold sores is not normal for me. Do anyone have any reasoning as what could be happening? Does this call for a short term immune system boost by taking some Zinc everyday or is this more of a long term problem? I’m open to anything.
