Why is hitting macros so much harder than tracking them?
I've been tracking my food for a while using Samsung Health, and something's been bothering me. Tracking itself is easy. What's hard is actually hitting your macros.
Like, you can see your remaining macros, but turning that into an actual meal still takes effort.
So I started thinking — why isn’t there something that just takes your targets + the foods you already have, and tells you what to eat next?
I ended up building something for myself that does exactly that. It basically suggests meals that get you as close as possible to your remaining macros, so you don't have to do the mental math.
