Bowser Jr. was badass, but does anyone else feel his voice choice and eyes were slightly weird?

First off, always loved Jr. He’s adorable and cool. I think the movie did him a lot of justice. Not sure what the powered up form was in the movie, but I think it was super badass. It was also cute and funny how he corrupted his dad.

But I feel like his voice choice was really weird. He sounded like a grown man. I was expecting something cuter, like Baby Bowser’s voice from Partners in Time.

I also think his eyes looked a little weird, they were like irises with no sclera. I feel they shouldve kept the black eyes.
