I don’t know what I’m doing wrong

Does anyone else have their team just absolutely suck no matter who they start with? I choose mid 50s prestige teams and no matter who I use the overall is different each time.

I always play a ridiculous out of conference schedule and then I’m 0-10. Somehow everyone in the Ivy League is 75+ overall? What do I do?
