Personal data request after 3rd interview: is it a done deal?

Post-interview

Hi everyone!

I am based in Italy (Europe) and last week I had my third and final in-person interview with a multinational company at their local office last week.

At the beginning of this week, following my follow-up email, the tech director I interviewed with got back to me. He told me that the selection process will conclude very soon, specifically by mid-next week, and explicitly asked for my personal details such as Tax ID, current residence, and date and place of birth in order to "proceed."

He also mentioned that, since it is the pre-Easter period, there might be a few days of delay due to colleagues abroad at HQ (Germany), but he promised to keep me updated.

In your experience, how likely is it that this leads to a formal offer? Has anyone had a similar experience? How did it turn out for you?
