Is it possible to get WFH in articleship?
I wanted to ask whether it is possible to pursue articleship with a WFH arrangement. Due to some personal problems, I might most possibly be unable to attend WFO regularly, which makes a remote setup much more suitable for me.
I understand that opting for WFH might mean missing out on certain learning opportunities and exposure that come with working from an office environment. However given my situation, I am willing to accept those trade-offs, so I'd prefer to get WFH even if it requires me to work overtime, but I'll be having problem to do WFO even if it doesn't require overtime.
I would like to know —
- Do firms (whether small or large) offer WFH options for articleship?
- Is it possible to negotiate such an arrangement with the principal?
- How open are firms generally to accommodating such requests?
I would really appreciate some guidance on whether this is a possible option and what's the percentage of possibility?
