What all affects the sound of a Hi Fi system and how much?
There have been many similar topics, but perhaps something has changed by now in the opinions of the members of this Forum.
According to a rough estimate, this would look like this:
- Room, acoustic treatment and speaker position (DSP if necessary)
- Speakers
- Amplifiers
- DAC (DDC), Turntable, Tape recorder
5 Transport/Streamer - Analog cables
- Digital cables (except Optical and Ethernet)
- Power cables
- Rack, Bases, Spikes, Pads......
If HiFi users have come to some knowledge through listening tests and trials in their own system, their experiences are quite relevant.
Measurements are certainly desirable, as are specifications and some theoretical knowledge.
I believe that the most valuable listening experience and experience in trials/assembling HiFi systems is.
What do you think about it?
