Vaginal irritation

I had sex with my bf who is on the bigger and girthy side. I haven’t had sex in roughly 6 months and then we went at it like 2 days in a row. I started to feel sore and irritated internally but didn’t burn while I peed. I decided to just get tested to just rule that out ( I’m waiting on results) He was tested and it all came back negative.

Could this be because he’s on the bigger side or the condoms give me an allergy? I was looking down there and it looks super red on the inner walls.

Any idea?
